I'm not dead I promise!

Some of you may have noticed that I took a little unscheduled blogging break. I haven’t been bitten by a zombie or abducted by aliens I swear! I got in a little rush of orders from the BIG SALE I’m having on Etsy. In order to get everything knitted up I had to back off of some other activities – like writing to you lovelies. But things are back in order and man do I have so many things to share! One thing at a time though, if I did it all now we would all lose our minds!

On top of bringing a brand new line of pretties for you to ogle at in the near future, all the photography for the store is going to be fresh and new too. Part of my new photography studio includes an up-cycled pallet table as a prop. Since me and my goodies are all about 100% natural fibers, it only makes sense to use natural materials for my photography. This repurposed pallet table fits right in. Here’s the end result of the table. (I didn't do the legs because that part won't be photographed... well except this one time)

Over the next few posts I’m going to walk you through just how we (my husband helped too) put this lovely lady together! Even if you don’t need something for photography this finish ended up really nice for maybe an end table, bedside table, or if you put some time of finish on it even a nice outside table piece!

PS… I have something special up my sleeve for Movember but it’s a secret right now J

  1. I love your table! I take pics at my Kitchen table sometimes, which is similar. Can't wait to see how you made it!

  2. Looks like a great photography space, I'm currently trying to reorganize my studio and I hope to be able to fit in a dedicated product photo area that doesn't need to be constantly set up and taken down.

    1. I'm so glad I finally decided to get a "studio" so all of my new photography is cohesive. Everything but the table is easily put away and in the closet for when I'm not using it which is great because I work out of home.

  3. The table is perfect for your natural fiber work! It looks great and I can't wait to see your products photographed on it!
